Volunteer Opportunities

The COOL Youth Center provides after-school and summer programming to assist children ages 6-18 in their emotional and intellectual development. The COOL Youth Center serves youth by providing a place where caring adults can create relationships that build trust. By learning important life skills at COOL, these children are able to become contributing members of our community.

DESCRIPTION: Help COOL staff provide quality homework help, tutoring and enrichment activities to children and youth grades 1-12. Needs are in basic skills as well as other academic areas. Training is provided.

RESPONSIBILITIES: Assist students in grades 1-12 with their homework, offer tutoring and enrichment activities.

DAY & TIMES: Monday, Tuesday & Thursdays 4:45-6:30 pm (grades 1-12) or 6:00-8:00pm (grades 9-12) during the school year.

TIME COMMITMENT: We encourage weekly or bi-weekly commitment during the school year.

OPPORTUNITY IS APPROPRIATE FOR: Adults
